Production
Tracks are arranged and produced on iPad and with real instruments, then routed through an Alesis MultiMix 4.
Recording
A Focusrite Scarlett Solo and a Sennheiser e835 handle anything that needs a microphone.
Editing and mix
Adobe Audition handles intake and correction, Magix Music Maker serves as the DAW for final editing, and Suno assists as an AI production tool.
Camera
The production videos are shot on an iPhone and a Sony FS5, then edited in Adobe Premiere.
About
Alex Calles is a producer, filmmaker, and writer from Round Rock, Texas. His music joins the pulse of electronic dance music to the weight of heavy metal. He composes every track, builds it with a combination of hands-on production and AI tools, and films the process himself.
The camera came first. He holds a B.S. in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University, and that training shapes how each production video is shot and cut. Before the music, the same eye went into a short documentary series filmed during his delivery and rideshare shifts.
He is also the author of three books, served five years as editor-in-chief of a Spanish-language magazine, and has drawn and painted in pencil, pastel, airbrush, and digital media since the 1980s.
