A Pencil Sharpener and the Broken Tips
This new electric pencil sharpener is designed to be graduated, featuring both short and long tips. It's a very cool thing to have. I do have lots of colored wood pencils, but I have never invested in an electric pencil sharpener up to now. Why? There are things that have no clear explanation. Why would I like to struggle with broken tips all the time by using the traditional manual sharpeners? In fact, my own logo, if you pay attention, features pencils with broken tips.
Beginning now, this sharpener has made a real difference for me. I can work much faster, more efficiently. No more silly idealization of artisanal, old-fashioned ways. I love adopting new technology and never being shy about using it.
This was a great buy, something that made sense, but still, it made me wonder; what else have I been doing in a similar fashion that is in need of a tech upgrade?
